First entry - start of something very fun I hope :)

Recently, I've been thinking a lot about the cool websites my friends had made to talk about their interests or show off their art, and daydreaming about designing my own. A couple days ago, I decided to actually try it. I already had a Neocities from last summer, when a friend of mine had sparked my interest with their Sonic the Hedgehog fan website, as well as some basic HTML experience from my high school computer science classes.

Going into this, I knew almost nothing past <p> tags and how to create links, but my past experience enabled me to quickly understand how the code behind my friends' sites worked, and use it as a reference for my own. (Thanks Joxi!) Now, only a few days later, the site has evolved into something I can be proud of, though it's still very much a work-in-progress.

I can't wait to see what the future holds!
